So as a creative Mommy I am always on the lookout for fun and creative activities and toys for my little. I like to invest in items that both spark her imagination and also things that she can use over and over again to make all different creations. We do lots of crafting but sometimes a Mom just needs a good creative toy to keep her little one busy. This article is our experience with the Lego Dots bracelet set and our review!
To set the stage, my daughter is a huge fan of Lego (just check out the picture below of the current state of my family room right now) and we do have several princess castle sets that we put together and keep intact (it takes some time to put those kits together!). We also have lots of pieces from other sets that have been put together and taken apart at least a bazillion times. I store them in plastic bins and she uses these all the time to make her own creations. This has especially been a lifesaver during social distancing times. She often goes to her Lego area and starts making all kinds of creations.

So back to the Lego Dot Bracelets…We saw these on YouTube. As we are still doing online school (and as many of you moms know this can be challenging!). We completed the first several weeks and I promised her if she finished all her work each day I would get her a surprise. A little bribery every now and then doesn’t hurt sometimes, right?
This post is not sponsored, it’s just a review of a fun toy that I got for my daughter.
What are Lego Dots?

So, this year Lego came out with a new concept. Lego dots are new sets that you can buy to create bracelets and many other cool items like a desk organizer, jewelry box, picture holders and frame. The set that I got was for the customizable bracelets.
What are the Lego Dots Bracelets like?
Lego Dots are customizable bracelets. They are available for purchase as individual bracelet packs or as part of a set. They are rubber bracelets with pegs (2 rows of 14 or 28 pegs total to be exact) where you can place Lego pieces and create your own designs. The Lego pieces stick to the pegs on the bracelet.
The exact set that we bought is this one: https://smile.amazon.com/LEGO-Bracelet-Creative-Friendship-Bracelets/dp/B085K8X115/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=lego+dots&qid=1599671584&sr=8-3
What Comes with the Lego Dots Bracelet Set?
The Set we got is called the “Mega Pack.” The set includes a total of 300 pieces including the following:
- 5 different colored pastel bands – pink, green, blue, yellow, and purple.
- 20 Surprise charms
- 1 Super rare charm
- Various Lego pieces (quarter circles, squares, and half-circles) of different like various colors of pink, green, blue, yellow, and purple colors that you can use to create your designs
- cool container to keep it in
What do you do with Lego dots?
You can create all kinds of customized bracelets with the Lego Dots Bracelet sets. They can be used again and again. You could copy one of the designs that they show on your packaging or make an infinite amount of your own designs. The sky is the limit. Of course, we like making our own original designs. My daughter has been making bracelets for herself and for everyone in the house to wear for a while. When she gets tired of the designs or gets inspired by a new design idea she creates something new. It’s been so much fun!
The Lego Dots Bracelet Packaging

The set that we purchased comes in this great plastic container with multiple compartments. It’s awesome because we have a container that can hold and separate the different small pieces. It has a plastic lid and can be stored and put away. This is huge because as any mom of a Lego-loving kid knows all these small pieces get everywhere so it’s so nice that it comes with its own container to keep it organized.
Do the Lego Pieces stick to the bracelets or fall off?
In my experience the Lego pieces did stick really well to the bracelet and did not fall off. I wore one of my daughter’s creations for an entire day and did not have any pieces fall off. I just went about my normal business for the day – which can be pretty active from virtual schooling, doing work in the house, etc. and the Lego pieces didn’t budge from the bracelet.
Are the Lego Pieces hard to get off?
In our experience no the Lego pieces are not hard at all to remove from the rubber bracelet if you want to create a new design. The Lego pieces are easy to remove using your finger nails or a Lego tool. The Lego tool that we have is an orange one that is pictured below. It is This came with another set though and we just generally use it for Lego builds or for the Lego Dots bracelets.
What Lego Dots Bracelet Sets are Available?
Do Lego dots bracelets work with regular Legos? You can fit regular Lego pieces on the bracelets. However, one small pieces that just fit over one peg would be possible to wear. The larger pieces that fit over more than one peg will end up popping up when it curves around the wrist.
How Long are the Lego Dot Bracelets?
They are approximately 8” long and ¾” wide.
Do they fit adults?
On the last peg or two, they may fit adults. There are 5 holes at the end of the bracelet to adjust it to the size needed. I have a large-size woman’s wrists and the bracelet does fit me on the last hole.
What age is Lego dots bracelets for?
On the packaging the Lego Dots packaging it states that Lego Dots are for ages 6+.
So we hope that this review was helpful. We would definitely recommend the Lego Dots Bracelet set. It’s a really fun and creative toy that can inspire hours of creation for your little one.
