I’m a Digital Marketer, mom, wife, aspiring Surface Pattern Designer, and lover of art, coffee, and all things creative!
Once upon a time, I was a career girl chasing big dreams in the Big Apple working in Marketing for a big beauty company. My life looked more like a scene from “The Devil Wears Prada”.
Nowadays my favorite role is Mommy and life is all about family and semi-country-style living. My husband, daughter, and I moved from the bustling Northeast to a semi-rural area in the South. We also have the coolest cat, Meli!
As a lover of culture, travel, and language, I also spent several years abroad for a few years in Greece, France, and Mexico. Some of my past experiences are reflected in my projects.
From ever since I can remember I’ve always been an artist at heart. Creativity is one of the things that brings me the most joy in life. In high school and college, I took all kinds of art classes like drawing, sewing, and photography.
As the demands of life and family grew bigger, I had less and less time to dedicate to my creative pursuits. There was always something more practical that needed to be done.
Creativity was something that I really missed in my life. It brings me joy.
Also, after having my daughter, I was wanted to incorporate more artistic activities and crafts to spark her imagination and creativity.
Little by little I started to carve out time to be creative. and I could feel how it fed my spirit. Creativity for me became an artistic outlet, a way to make my surroundings beautiful, a form of self-care, and also a way to connect with my daughter.
